We head for the 19th century garden village of Port Sunlight and Heritage Centre. Concerned with the welfare of his factory workers and their families, William Hesketh Lever played an integral part in the design and construction of a unique village, complete with a church, school, cottage hospital and even an art gallery. Today, we have the chance to learn and experience this fascinating, living display of life in bygone times.
