In its sheer density of extraordinary historical and natural attractions, the tiny desert kingdom of Jordan stands alone. In just a week, and travelling even at a leisurely pace, visitors may wander colonnaded Roman streets, scale dramatic hilltop Crusader fortresses, traverse the desert dunes of Wadi Rum in the footsteps of Lawrence of Arabia, float in the bizarrely buoyant waters of the Dead Sea, snorkel amongst Red Sea coral reefs and, at Petra, the astonishing ‘rose red city’ of rock-cut temples and tombs, experience a truly unforgettable travel icon and man-made wonder of the world.

Day 1 London, Amman

We begin with Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® to London Heathrow Airport and your direct, scheduled Royal Jordanian flight to Amman. On arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, we board our coach for a transfer to the Century Park Hotel or AlQasr Metropole. Amman, the capital of Jordan since 1921, is built on seven hills. Remains from the Roman, Greek and Ottoman empires are dotted around the city, the most impressive being the Roman Theatre in the city centre.
