35 Hours per week (0900 – 1700 Monday to Friday with 60 minutes for lunch each day. These hours will be flexible to ensure the efficient execution of your duties.

Purpose
An exciting new position has been created within the Product Department for a Product Assistant dealing with airline administration for the Titan Group of Companies. This new role requires the applicant to have a sound knowledge of airlines, routes, Amadeus, airline contracts and airfares in general.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
-
Assist with the day to day running of the air product function and will report to the Product Manager – Air.
-
A high percentage of your day will be spent managing, sourcing and processing allocations for Titan Travel’s partner airlines, which requires a high level of analysis, accuracy and attention to detail.

Contribute to maintaining a high level of housekeeping and attention to health and safety issue so as to create a healthy and safe working environment

Work as a team player within the organisation

Willingly carry out any other duties deemed appropriate by the Company

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

To be proficient in all aspects of the work that Airline Admin deal with
-
To ensure manifest and ticketing deadlines are met
-
To assist with the ‘house-keeping’ of the airline contract drive
-
To assist with the updating of the department Training/Procedure Manual
-
To support the Manager, taking on additional projects/work loads that will increase the productivity of Airline Admin
-
To look at areas that need improvement, suggest changes and agree with Airline Admin Manager
-
Regular meetings with Airline Admin Manager to give/receive feedback on objectives and teams progression
-
To lead and motivate your team to maximise on revenue by way of, best buy fares, and reducing ticket issue date as much as possible.

Utilise all team members to give everyone the opportunity of progressing

To assist with all training/coaching
-
To lead by example, making decisions where necessary and being pro-active
-
To always be approachable, friendly and on hand to deal with any query that either the team or someone from another department have

To give extra when required during peak periods
-
To always adopt a calm, ‘can do’ approach

In Managers Absence

Handle day to day queries

Lead and motivate the team

Delegate workloads

Liaise with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the team
Essential Requirements
-
Amadeus skills
-
Knowledge on IATA/BSP ticketing procedures
-
Experience in reading and understanding airline contracts
-
Issuing tickets from both nett contracts and published fares
-
Excellent administration skills and a high attention to detail
Desirable Qualities

To work on own initiative as well as part of a team

Ability to find solutions to potential problems as they arise
-
A flexible, enthusiastic approach with the ability to provide support to a team

To always be approachable, friendly and on hand to deal with any query that either the team or someone from another department may have.
