Katakolon
Katakolon, the gateway to Olympia, where the ancient Greeks flocked every four years for more than a millennium, to celebrate the sacred games dedicated to Zeus. Perhaps visit the ruins of the Temple of Zeus, which housed the gold-and-ivory statue of Zeus, recognised as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. There may also be an opportunity to see the Temple of Hera, the Prytaneion and the Philippeion
Mykonos
Although it is one of the smallest islands of the Cyclades, it is definitely one of the most desired destinations. It offers a cosmopolitan lifestyle, sophisticated nightlife, picturesque villages and the historic treasures of the nearby Delos.
Corfu
Corfu Town is well worth a visit, which is made up in two parts, Old Town and New Town. In the Old Town you will find elegant churches of various religions and the maze of cobbled streets with the old fortress that stands proudly over looking the town, whereas the New Town holds an abundance of cosmopolitan shops.
