The historical gems of Croatia’s Adriatic coast, lend themselves perfectly to a two-centre holiday - spectacular enough to merit days of exploration in their own right, only four hours’ travel time apart and each presenting further attractions to explore on full day excursions. From your comfortable resort hotels, discover the seafront promenades and Roman palace of Split and the medieval heart of Dubrovnik - one of the world’s most beautiful and stunningly located cities - along with the captivating canyons, forests and waterfalls of Krka National Park and the delightful fjord scenery of Kotor, across the border in Montenegro.
A magical day awaits us as we venture north to Krka National Park, where winding paths, bridges and steps link a wonderful series waterfalls that make up most of this National Park, divided by deep canyons and all surrounded by lush, green forest. We later depart from Skradinski Buk by boat to Skadrin, which was badly damaged during the conflict due to its position between Croat dominated Sibenik and a Serb controlled area but it is now again a place of peace and beauty.
