Days 1-2 London - In flight
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to London Heathrow Airport and your scheduled Singapore Airlines flight to Sydney via Singapore.
Day 3 Sydney, Australia
An early morning arrival in Sydney, where our coach will transfer you to the well-appointed Parkroyal Darling Harbour (4T), for the next two nights. The hotel is close to Sydney Harbour, Circular Quay and the main shopping areas and is well placed to walk to the old Rocks area, a cluster of some of the country’s oldest buildings in quaint streets of small houses, with plenty of cafés to refresh the explorer. The remainder of the day is free.
Day 4 Sydney
This morning we enjoy an orientation tour of Sydney, taking in some of the city’s famous icons including the Opera House and Harbour Bridge before returning to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to make your own discoveries of this cosmopolitan and colourful city with its beautiful landscape and wealth of culture.
Day 5 - Sydney
A leisurely start to the day, to further explore and perhaps visit famous Bondi Beach before we transfer to embark Azamara Journey® (5T), with plenty of time to settle into your stateroom before dinner this evening. Be sure to be up on deck when we set sail early this evening, passing the iconic Opera House with fantastic photo opportunities.
Day 6 - At sea
A leisurely day at sea provides the perfect opportunity to settle into your luxurious surroundings on board and acquaint yourself with the facilities, relax on deck or perhaps join one of the onboard activities.
Day 7 - Brisbane
Often referred to as the Gateway to Queensland, the river city of Brisbane has lots to offer. Get your bearings with a ride on the Wheel of Brisbane (similar to the London Eye) - an iconic landmark that offers bird’s eye views of the entire city. Stroll the city streets, filled with entertaining buskers, or indulge in culinary delights on Eagle Street Pier. Venture to the Scenic Rim for wineries from the Granite Belt Wine Region for some of Australia’s famous new world wines.
Day 8 - At sea
Day 9 - Hardy Reef, Great Barrier Reef - Hamilton Island, Whitsundays
Positioned along the Great Barrier Reef, Hardy Reef is located alongside magnificent coral walls, which can be explored with guided safaris or one your own (this is a prime spot for snorkelling and swimming). Expect to see hundreds of types of fish and other marine life, such as turtles, reef sharks, and barracudas. If you’d rather stay dry, then Reefworld features all kinds of spots to get up close and personal with sea creatures, all from the comfort of incredible underwater viewing chambers.
Day 10 - Townsville
Townsville borders the central section of the Great Barrier Reef and enjoys warm temperatures year-round. Perhaps visit the Reef HQ Great Barrier Reef Aquarium, the world’s largest living coral reef aquarium; the Museum of Tropical Queensland for famous shipwrecks; or head to the top of Mount Stuart for spectacular panoramic views of Townsville and the surrounding area. Nearby, Magnetic Island national park is filled with rocky landscapes, coral reefs and an abundance of animal life, including wallabies and koalas.
Day 11 - Cairns
From Cairns, perhaps head inland to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Daintree Rainforest - the planet’s oldest surviving tropical rainforest. Or maybe visit the tranquil village of Kuranda - which is home to colourful parrots, butterflies, platypus and freshwater crocodiles - just a short, scenic railway journey from Cairns.
Day 12 - At sea
Day 13 - Thursday Island
Embrace the relaxed, tropical vibe of this island located in the waterway that separates Australia from Papua New Guinea. With a diverse mix of cultures thanks to its geography and intriguing history, Thursday Island offers sites of interest like the Green Hill Fort, the Gab Titui Cultural Centre, and the Japanese Pearl Diver’s Cemetery to discover more about Thursday Island’s fascinating history.
Days 14-15 - At sea
Day 16 - Darwin
The capital of Australia’s Northern Territory, Darwin offers a wealth of parks and conservation areas to visit, including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park - an incredible combination of lush rainforests, wetlands, wildlife, and a treasure trove of Aboriginal rock art. You can also enjoy miles of pristine beaches like Casuarina Beach and Mindil Beach, not to mention fantastic fishing for the region’s iconic fish - the barramundi.
Days 17-18 - At sea
Day 19 - Benoa, Bali
Bali is a lush, verdant isle, where rice terraces colour every available acre with the brilliant green of young shoots, and volcanic peaks dominate the landscape. It is a deeply spiritual place, where artful offerings of flowers and incense are ever present. Culturally rich, each village has its own artistic speciality - music, dance, painting and sculpture.
Day 20 - Celukan Bawang
Located in the middle of a beautiful bay, Celukan Bawang is a relatively quiet town. The beaches here are beautiful, particularly the black-sand stretches of Lovina and the nearby surf mecca of Kuta. For more land-based pursuits, Celukan Bawang offers great shopping and an array of restaurants that specialise in Balinese cuisine, considered one of the most complex in the world and featuring an amazing variety of spices combined with fresh seafood, meat, and vegetables.
Days 21-22 - At sea
Day 23 Singapore - In flight
We disembark this morning and join a sightseeing tour of the city of Singapore. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore further at your own pace. After an early evening dinner, we transfer to Singapore Changi Airport for a direct, scheduled Singapore Airlines flight to London.
Day 24 London
Arrival at London Heathrow Airport where you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
