Royal Windsor has so much to inspire the visitor on a short break. Visit its world-famous Windsor Castle, stroll in Windsor Great Park along the majestic Long Walk, or cross the river into Eton with its world-renowned college. Windsor is famous for its royal connections and is steeped in the pageantry and history of the Royal Family. You’ll discover a lively town in a glorious riverside location with great restaurants and Windsor Castle - one of the Queen’s official royal residences and the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world, a highlight of many a visit. We take an afternoon cream tea cruise from Windsor and enjoy the glorious Kew Gardens, home to the world’s largest collection of living plants. We have two special departures that coincide with either the Chelsea Flower Show or Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, a must for both those with a keen interest in horticulture and a casual appreciation of beautiful gardens.

Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Macdonald Windsor Hotel (4T) in Windsor. We aim for you to arrive at the hotel between 4pm and 5pm. Spend the remaining afternoon at leisure, relaxing in the hotel or familiarising yourself with your surroundings - with Windsor Castle on your door step and the Thames River just a 5 minute stroll away. Explore the town and you will also find high street shops, designer labels and souvenir shops sitting alongside quaint, specialist and antiques shops and tea rooms. Dinner at the hotel is included this evening.
Day 2 Thames River Cruise
After a free morning in Windsor, enjoy an afternoon sightseeing with an included two-hour boat trip on the River Thames with cream tea. Departing from Windsor Promenade, the boat passes by Windsor racecourse, picturesque Boveney Lock and Bray film studios, the home of the classic Hammer Horror films. We reach Monkey Island, the small, well maintained island which has been graced by many a regal admirer and where George III was sent during his more extreme episodes of insanity, then turn back to Windsor where you will have excellent views of Eton College and Windsor Castle.
Day 3 Kew
After breakfast, we have a half-day included excursion to the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. London’s only 300-acre UNESCO World Heritage Site comprises centuries of royal history. Explore glasshouses, landscapes and discover 250 years of history at the world’s most famous garden and the innumerable contributions it has made to the understanding of plants and fungus with many benefits for plant life and mankind. There is free time for lunch before we return to the hotel. Enjoy an afternoon of leisure before your included dinner tonight.
Day 4 Windsor
For those choosing our 22 May 2017 departure, a full-day excursion to Chelsea Flower Show is included. Our 3 July 2017 departure includes a full-day excursion to Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. For all other departures, we have an included visit to the magnificent Windsor Castle, used regularly for ceremonial and State occasions. During its rich history of almost 1000 years, Windsor Castle has been the home of 39 monarchs in total. The appearance of the State Apartments today reflects the changing tastes of the Castle’s royal occupants, particularly Charles II and George IV, and hold many royal treasures including Queen Mary's beautiful Dolls House.
Day 5 Windsor
Following breakfast, you will be collected at 10am by your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
In July, this Windsor itinerary includes a full-day excursion to RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. Exhibitors at Britain’s largest flower show, aim to inspire as you meander through the multitude of beautiful displays in the grounds of the royal palace.
