It is easy to underestimate the sheer size of the National Parks, but a touring holiday is one of the best ways to experience this aspect of the USA. The distances between the numerous regions we visit are impressive but, free from the stress of driving or the pressure of the airport, all you have to do is sit back and relax while the landscapes and endless horizons pass by.
One of our most popular National Parks - and one of the greatest natural wonders in the world - is Arizona's Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon is synonymous with immense size but it is hard to understand its enormity until you have seen the geological phenomenon with your own eyes: at 277 miles long, 18 miles wide and 1 mile deep, there is nothing else like it on Earth. Our Grand Canyon tours let visitors hike to the canyon's rim to marvel down at its depth, or take to the air and soar over and through its rock formations in a plane or helicopter.
Beyond Arizona, our tours range deep into California's interior, home of the verdant and diverse, Yosemite National Park. Located in the Sierra Nevada, Yosemite is vast, containing everything from raging rivers and thick forests, to open plains and huge mountains. The park promises dramatic natural spectacle around every corner and is home to the magnificent Giant Redwood tree - with trunks tall and wide enough to drive a car through.
Straddling the Arizona-Utah state line is a landscape movie fans will recognize instantly: Monument Valley. Home to towering sandstone buttes rising thousands of feet above open plains, the location was favoured by legendary Western director, John Ford. Protected as part of the Navaho Tribal Park, it is easy to see why the sentinel-like buttes are treated with such reverence by Native Americans - within the valley the tranquil Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon add their own stirring beauty to an ancient landscape.
Our National Parks tours include the Rocky Mountains, which stretch up through the US into Canada. Our Rockies holidays take advantage of the incredible distance the range covers, and present epic journeys - from Colorado all the way down to New Mexico. The Rockies are unique: snow-capped, gargantuan and genuinely jaw-dropping, they make for compelling excursions and powerful photo-opportunities along their entire length.
Dedicated to these beautiful wilderness regions, Titan Travel's 'Awe Inspiring National Parks' tour is an epic odyssey through the United States' most exciting natural environments - including Colorado, Wyoming, Utah and Arizona. The experience opens in Estes Park, gateway to the Rocky Mountain National Park, before moving onto a wider North American tapestry of open vistas, magnificent mountains and sweeping canyons. You will experience Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Bryce Canyon and, of course, the Grand Canyon itself - while connecting with those regions' significance to America's Native cultures. The scenery on the tour is humbling and powerful but promises to create memories which stay with you forever.
We have extensive expertise in bringing our customers to the world's most spectacular natural environments. Beyond those of the United States, we visit National Parks all around the globe - from Chile to Iceland, Australia to Africa - and aim to create unforgettable holiday experiences in each of our destinations.
