Day 1 - London - Lisbon, Portugal
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport and a flight to Lisbon. On arrival, you are met by Voyages to Antiquity representatives and transferred to Aegean Odyssey (4T) for an evening departure.
Day 2 - Cadiz, Spain
Cadiz has clung to Spain’s Atlantic coast for over 4,000 years and in this time its influence has been felt far and wide. Your choice of sightseeing tours may encompass the charming old city, the cathedral with its famous towering golden domes, Santa Catalina Fortress and the Moorish-style Alameda de Apodaca Gardens, a reminder of their occupancy in past centuries, plus a drive to Jerez de la Frontera for sherry-tasting at the well-known company Bodega Gonzalez Byass.
Day 3 - Malaga
Malaga is a joy to stroll around, with a skyline that reflects the city’s eclectic character; church spires jostle for space with russet-red tiled roofs and lofty apartment buildings while 11th century Gibralfaro Castle sits grandly and provides the best view of all. View some of the city’s outstanding sites and visit the Picasso Museum or take a panoramic drive to Granada, including a visit to Royal Alhambra Palace. Inside the red castle you will be able to visit the Nazaries Palaces with intricately carved stucco walls, knotted ceilings, elaborate honeycomb vaulting and beautiful courtyards, before visiting the Generalife Palace which was built as the summer palace for the Sultans of Granada.
Day 4 - At sea

Day 5 - Valencia
On a sightseeing city tour, you will visit both the historical centre and the most modern part of the city. View the most outstanding monuments including the fourteenth century church of the Knights Templar, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Market & Silk Exchange as well as the city’s new landmark, the City of Arts & Sciences. Alternatively visit Valencia's Royal Gardens before a panoramic tour of the city centre.
Day 6 - Barcelona
Explore the Roman sites of the city in the Gothic quarter, view the Forum with its remains of a 1st century temple to Caesar Augustus and delve under the city’s streets for a glimpse of everyday life in Barcino, 20 centuries ago. Spend the afternoon at leisure or visit some of the greatest works of Spanish artists and architects, the distinctive buildings of Antoni Gaudi are unmissable.
Day 7 - Sète, France
A visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Carcassonne takes you inside city walls, enforced by miles of battlements, 52 towers and a castle that stand exactly as they did in the Middle Ages. Stroll the lists between the double walls and view the mighty gate with its chains, portcullis and intricate access system. An alternative tour of Montpellier takes in the handsome medieval buildings and elegant private mansions, plus the 14th century Cathedrale de Saint Pierre and free time to explore Chateau de Flaugergues.
Day 8 - Marseilles
A choice of day trips to Avignon, which rose to glory in the Middle Ages when a series of French-born Popes fled Rome and made the town a base from which they ruled Christendom until 1407. The highlight of your visit is a guided tour of the Pope's Palace. Alternatively visit the sites of Marseilles and Aix-en-Provence including Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica, Longchamp Palace and the aristocratic façades of the Cours Mirabeau.
Day 9 - Monte Carlo, Monaco
Cruising the French Riviera, arriving in Monte Carlo this evening.
Day 10 - Monte Carlo
An included city sightseeing tour in Monte Carlo takes you past the Prince’s Palace, the Oceanographic Museum, the 19th century Romanesque Cathedral, and also on a drive along part of Monaco's famous Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit to Casino Square. Or take a tour of Monaco, through the Old Town and to the Cathedral, where princes and princesses of Monaco are buried. An optional afternoon excursion will take you on a panoramic tour of Nice and the Riviera.
Day 11 - Livorno, Italy
From the port of Livorno, drive through the Tuscan hills for a day trip to Florence to discover the town that gave birth to the Italian Renaissance. View the period's outpouring of art in the renowned Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia, Europe's first school of drawing, where Michelangelo's colossal statue of David presides over a rich collection of paintings and sculptures. Florence is dense with monuments and landmarks including Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo cathedral. Or visit Pisa’s precarious Leaning Tower and magnificent cathedral, and Lucca, to find endearing cobbled streets, handsome piazzas and shady promenades behind imposing Renaissance walls.
Day 12 - Portofino
Free day in Portofino, a charming fishing village that has also become a boutique playground for rich fashionistas.
Day 13 Civitavecchia - London
This morning you disembark Aegean Odyssey after breakfast and are transferred to Rome Airport for a flight to London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport. On arrival you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
