Day 1 - London Tilbury
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home for your journey to London Tilbury, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Aegean Odyssey (4T) in preparation for a late afternoon sailing.
Day 2 - At sea
Day 3 - Rosyth, Scotland.
Choose from two excursions in Rosyth today; the first will take you to Stirling Castle, constructed during the 15th and 16th centuries as a primary residence for Scottish monarchs. Alternatively, embark on a walking tour of the Royal Mile - Edinburgh’s oldest historic street - discovering buildings, statues and monuments of medieval heritage including Edinburgh Castle.
Day 4 - At sea
Day 5 - Ulvik/Eidfjord, Norway
Visit one of the small picturesque towns of Ulvik or Eidfjord, both tucked away in separate arms of the breathtaking Hardangerfjord. Marvel at the wonderful scenery, as our ship glides along the fjord’s glassy waters, with views of cascading waterfalls and the captivating Hardangervidda National Park.
Day 6 - Olden
This afternoon’s destination is the pleasant village of Olden, located at the mouth of the Oldeelva River that flows through the beautiful Oldedalen Valley. Situated on the southern shore of the Nordfjorden, this whole area offers breathtaking scenery and the Briksdal glacier - an arm of the Jostedalsbreen, the largest glacier on the European mainland - is located a short distance away.
Day 7 - Geiranger
Framed by some of the most beautiful scenery on earth, it’s no wonder Geirangerfjord has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arriving in the delightful village of Geiranger, located west of the Seven Sisters waterfalls, you will be mesmerised by the sheer dominance of the surrounding mountains.
Day 8 - Bergen
Surrounded by seven picturesque hills and mighty fjords, Bergen is both a unique and fascinating place to explore. Once Norway’s capital and a key seaport for the Hanseatic League, Bergen has an enthralling history, illustrated by the Bryggen, the UNESCO-listed wharf which established itself as a dominant centre for trade during the 12th century. Marvel at the Hanseatic buildings, Bryggens Museum - home to archaeological exhibits from the region, charming shops selling traditional crafts, and a number of excellent art museums and brightly-coloured houses.
Day 9 - Flåm
Arrive in Flåm, a beautiful small town set amongst the mountains of the Flåm Valley. Its majestic railway journey has been named one of the best in the world and you can enjoy a spectacular excursion aboard, running along a magnificent high mountain plateau and winding down through dramatic, wild landscapes. You will complete the day with an unforgettable cruise along Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord of captivating scenery.
Day 10 - Stavanger
The coastal town of Stavanger is our port of call this afternoon. Explore intertwining picturesque lanes occupied by well-preserved 18th century wooden buildings, a vibrant waterfront and the 12th century Stavanger Cathedral, with a grand exterior and intricate interior that features detailed stained glass windows. Or perhaps visit the striking Stavanger fjord, a breathtaking work of nature.
Day 11 - Kristiansand
This morning we dock in the wonderful city of Kristiansand - its lively culture, vibrant marina and excellent collection of fine restaurants make it a delight to explore. Visit the open-air Kristiansand Museum, Norway’s largest historical museum and a collection of historic buildings including barns, stables, storehouses and old schools, some of which date back to 1580. Highlights of Kristiansand include the historic Christiansholm Fortress, built during the 16th century to protect the city; and the fascinating Agder Natural History Museum and Botanical Garden.
Day 12 - Oslo
Norway’s unforgettable capital, Oslo is our port of call today. Not only does the city host a vibrant cultural scene, but it boasts many world-class art museums and beautiful architecture. Perhaps visit the Holmenkollen Ski Museum and Tower, a historic Norwegian landmark that has hosted many skiing competitions and a museum exhibiting over 4,000 years of skiing history; or, discover the superb Viking Ship Museum.
Day 13 - At sea
Day 14 - Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Discover the charming Dutch capital, Amsterdam celebrated for its lively art scene, old merchants’ houses, picturesque tree-lined canals and abundance of enticing museums. Grand architecture decorates the streets alongside fascinating museums including the Rijksmuseum, home to a grand collection of art, artefacts, and historic and cultural objects which present 800 years of Dutch history; the Van Gogh Museum, featuring over 200 paintings, 500 drawings and 700 letters of the world-famous artist’s work; the Hermitage Museum; and the Anne Frank House, the location where the young Jewish diarist spent years in hiding during World War II.
Day 15 London
After breakfast this morning, disembark Aegean Odyssey at London Tilbury, where you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
