Day 1 - Liverpool
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Liverpool, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Black Watch (3T+) in preparation for a late evening sailing.
Days 2-3 - At sea
Enjoy two days at sea on board Black Watch, perhaps indulging in some mouthwatering truffles and champagne in the delightful Bookmark Café or being entertained with a 3D or 4D film in the Marine Theatre.
Day 4 - Cruising Geirangerfjord, Seven Sisters Waterfall, Hellesylt, Sunnylvsfjorden and Strandafjellet Mountain, Norway
Today is spent cruising through some of Norway’s most spectacular scenery including the picturesque Geirangerfjord, the legendary Seven Sisters Waterfall and the mighty snow-capped Strandafjellet Mountain.
Day 5 - Olden - Cruising Nordfjord and Hornelen
This morning we arrive in the stunning village of Olden, set amongst beautiful green meadows, colourful flowers, glistening emerald waters, picture-postcard waterfalls, magnificent peaks and lush green forested landscapes. Olden itself is a delight to explore with its pretty houses, and the Old Church which dates back to 1759. While here you may wish to enjoy a pleasant walk through Oldedalen Valley which stretches over 12 miles of picturesque landscapes - vertical cliffs, enchanting waterfalls and the numerous glaciers of Jostedalsbreen National Park. This afternoon we sail along Nordfjord - one of Norway’s longest and most picturesque fjords and later tonight we cruise along Hornelen, the perfect opportunity to view Europe’s highest sea cliff and dramatic natural landscapes. Day 6 - Flåm - Cruising Nærøyfjord
Located along the stunning banks of the Aurlandsfjord, the tiny village of Flåm is a wonderful destination for outdoor activities including hiking and cycling due to its fantastic landscapes, but it is best known for the railway which travels 20km through breathtaking scenery of mighty mountains and tumbling waterfalls such as the mighty Kjosfossen waterfall. During our day here, you may like to visit the Flåmsbana Museum, which explains the historical journey of the railway’s designs and construction. This evening we cruise along the beautiful Nærøyfjord, an unforgettable spectacle of nature’s finest work of art, admire the 18 km of dramatic views of snow-capped mountains, mighty waterfalls and traditional farms, rated by National Geographic as the world's number one natural heritage site. Day 7 - Bergen
Explore Norway’s spellbinding Hanseatic city filled with ancient gems including the 900-year-old, UNESCO-listed Bryggen Wharf. Explore the wharf with enchanting narrow streets, a treasured waterfront, impressive alleyways, cobblestone stairways, brightly-coloured half-timbered houses and a fantastic array of delightful shops. Bergen is surrounded by seven large-scale hills, the tallest of which can be reached via a funicular railway journey, where you will capture unforgettable views over the magnificent surrounding lands and the picturesque city.
Day 8 - Lerwick, Shetland Islands
This morning we arrive in Lerwick, the stunning capital of the breathtaking Shetland Islands. For several centuries these islands were under the control of the Norse Vikings, before the marriage of James III returned them to Scotland. Place names, the dialect and buildings still show the Norse influence. During the 17th century, Lerwick rose as an unofficial marketplace for Dutch herring fleets and a few fascinating structures of this era still remain including Fort Charlotte; built to fend off France and Spain, some of its cannons still overlook the harbour. Lerwick also hosts lively bars, delightful cafés and traditional inns as well as a picturesque old waterfront, decorated with local fishing boats.
Day 9 - At sea
Enjoy your final day at sea.
Day 10 Liverpool
We disembark after breakfast and you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
