Italy’s northernmost province is the stunning destination of our new Christmas tour. Situated in the heart of the Dolomites, our hotel offers views over an incredible landscape of mountain peaks. Our days are spent exploring the towns hidden in the scenic mountain basins, full of myths, legends, and deep-rooted festive traditions. Medieval legacies and Alpine peaks offer fascinating excursions and make stunning backdrops for Christmas markets that are laden with unique handmade gifts and radiate the tempting aromas of pastries, cakes and spiced refreshments.

Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service® collects you from home, for your journey to London Gatwick Airport for a direct, scheduled British Airways flight to Venice. On arrival we transfer to Dobbiaco, located a short distance from the border of Italy and Austria and the Hotel Laurin (3T). A welcome drink will be waiting for us and dinner is included at our hotel this evening.
Day 2 Bolzano
For today we have arranged a tour of Bolzano, the capital of South Tyrol, including a stroll around its charming historic centre and the famous Christmas markets. Bolzano owes its unique atmosphere and hospitality to the lively streets and squares which lend themselves perfectly to hosting Italy’s largest Christmas market, to the footpaths for those who like walking and the three cable cars for those seeking the thrill of heights and panoramic views over the surroundings of hills and vineyards - an enviable sight. We have free time to take lunch and meander amongst wooden market stalls to the sound of barrel organs, or you have time to visit Ötzi - one of the world’s best-known human finds from the ice age - at the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology. This afternoon we return to our hotel, with dinner arranged here later.
Day 3 Christmas Eve - Brunico and Bressanone
Today we have a full-day tour starting in Brunico, the main town in the Puster Valley. Located in the middle of a wide basin between the Dolomites to the south and the lofty summits of the central Alpine crest to the north, this picturesque town has been protected by the elegant episcopal Brunico Castle since the 13th century. In the town square, the Christmas market is scented with the spice of culinary delights that fuel the festive spirit. Enjoy free time here before we continue to Bressanone, the oldest town in the Tyrol. The history of this small holiday town can be read from the façades and art, hidden in the archways. Around the splendid Baroque cathedral, encircled by other, centuries-old buildings, you can find a Christmas market filled with hand carved nativity scenes, candles and local specialities. We return to our hotel in the afternoon to prepare for dinner this evening, in a local mountain chalet. The main church of Dobbiaco will be providing a Midnight Mass service, and you are welcome to make your own arrangements to attend.
Day 4 Christmas Day - Baranci
After a leisurely festive morning and a light lunch at the hotel, we enjoy a ride on the funicular railway up to Mount Baranci, a popular ski resort, where we’ll be greeted with a warming glass of mulled wine and refreshments. The Monte Baranci is part of the Dolomiti di Sesto and is served by the world’s largest ski carousel, Dolomiti Superski. Enjoy the sights before we return to our hotel, where we have a five-course Christmas dinner to look forward to this evening, including wine, spumante and panettone.
Day 5 Boxing Day - Cortina d’Ampezzo
We have a full-day tour to Cortina d’Ampezzo, considered Italy’s premier mountain resort. On our visit we’ll stroll around its undeniably beautiful historic centre with vine-clad buildings framed by the magnificent Alps. Cortina is queen of the Italian lifestyle, culture and gastronomy and you might choose to spend your free time as many Italian visitors do - perusing the boutiques and the wooden huts of the small Christmas market decked with handmade goods, or by taking a cable car ride up to the Glass Mountain. In the afternoon, we return to our hotel where we take dinner tonight.
Day 6 Dobbiaco - Verona - London
We transfer to Verona Airport for a direct, scheduled British Airways flight to London Gatwick Airport. On arrival you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
