Day 1 - London - Düsseldorf - Cologne
Titan’s VIP Home Departure Service collects you from your home, for your journey to London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport and a direct, scheduled British Airways flight to Düsseldorf. On arrival, transfer to the port in Cologne and embark Royal Crown (4T) with time to settle in before dinner.
Day 2 - Cologne - Bonn
Enjoy a morning at leisure in Cologne before setting sail for Bonn where you can enjoy an optional walking tour of this old capital city. The optional tour includes entrance to Beethoven’s House; the birthplace of this musical genius holds many exhibits of his life and work. Return to the ship in time for dinner.
Day 3 - Bonn - Koblenz
After a relaxing day on the river, we arrive in Koblenz this evening.
Day 4 - Koblenz - Rüdesheim
This morning we take an included walking tour of historical Koblenz. The town is dominated by Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and we have included a trip by cable car to the fortress for magnificent views over the Rhine and Moselle. We leave Koblenz at lunchtime and sail to Rüdesheim where we arrive early this evening.
Day 5 - Rüdesheim - cruising the Rhine
Spend the morning at leisure in Rüdesheim and enjoy wandering the pretty cobbled streets. Alternatively take an optional excursion to Siegfried’s Music Museum, which provides insight into the history and mechanics of music boxes. Return to the ship for lunch and enjoy an afternoon sailing along the Rhine.
Day 6 - Miltenberg - Wertheim
A morning arrival in Miltenberg the ‘Pearl of the Main River’. A delightful town protected by its medieval walls. Here there will be an opportunity to join an optional beer tasting in one of Miltenberg’s famous breweries. Re-join the ship for some leisurely sailing before arriving in Wertheim late afternoon.
Day 7 - Würzburg
Visit Würzburg Residenz Palace today - a masterpiece of Baroque architecture dating back to 1744. It is one of the largest and most beautiful palaces in Germany as well as being a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the palace before enjoying the sights in the old town.
Day 8 - Bamberg
An afternoon arrival in Bamberg where you may choose to join an optional tour of this UNESCO-listed town. Alternatively you can explore the town’s historic old quarter, churches and attractive narrow streets at your own leisure.
Day 9 - Nuremberg
Spend a full day in Nuremberg, an archetypal medieval German city encircled by mighty defensive walls and red-roofed buildings. Enjoy an included city tour to introduce you to the highlights of this city and then enjoy some free time for your own explorations.
Day 10 - Kelheim - Regensburg
An early morning arrival into Kelheim allows the opportunity to explore renaissance centre of this city and Liberation Hall, commissioned by King Ludwig I to commemorate the victories over Napoleon. After the visit, continue on to Regensburg with free time to explore one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Germany. Among its many treasures is one of the oldest bridges in Europe that has crossed the Danube since the 12th century. Alternatively, there will be an opportunity to join an optional tour of the Benedictine Weltenburg Abbey, considered one of the best examples of European Baroque and home of the world’s oldest Monastery Brewery.
Day 11 - Passau
Spend the day at leisure in Passau or you can choose to join an optional walking tour starting in the medieval section of the town before visiting St Stephen’s Cathedral - home to Europe’s largest pipe organ. Alternatively you may wish to join an optional excursion to Salzburg - birthplace of Mozart.
Day 12 - Linz - Grein - Melk
There is free time this morning to explore the historic buildings and attractive Old Town of Linz before returning to the ship for lunch. Enjoy some leisurely sailing along the Danube before arriving in the attractive town of Grein this afternoon.
Day 13 - Melk - Wachau Valley - Krems
Enjoy an included excursion to Melk Abbey this morning, a masterpiece of Baroque art and architecture situated high atop the granite cliffs of the Danube. Return to the ship and sail through the beautiful Wachau Valley before arriving in Krems this afternoon, an attractive riverside town declared a World Heritage cultural landscape by UNESCO.
Day 14 - Vienna
Awake this morning in the beautiful city of Vienna. Join an included tour, introducing the highlights of this wonderful capital city and enjoy a coffee in a typical Viennese coffee house. We remain here overnight, allowing you to make further explorations.
Day 15 Vienna - London
Disembark Royal Crown and transfer to Vienna Airport for a direct, scheduled British Airways flight to London Heathrow or Gatwick. On arrival you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
