Day 1 London - Venice, Italy
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport for a British Airways or another leading airline flight to Venice. On arrival, you are met by Voyages to Antiquity representatives and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 Venice
An orientation tour of Venice uncovers her treasures. Enjoy a spectacular private visit to St Mark’s Basilica this evening, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see this remarkable building at its very best.
Day 3 - Venice
Enjoy a free morning in Venice or choose an optional tour to discover more delights, before transferring to the port to embark Aegean Odyssey (4T). Sail early this evening.
Day 4 - Urbino
Many of the great artists, architects and scholars of the 15th century gathered in Urbino. Visit the birthplace of Raphael, view the magnificent Duomo and tour the Palazzo Ducale, Italy's most beautiful Renaissance palace.
Day 5 - Split, Croatia
On a tour of Split, visit the amazing Diocletian's Palace, a vibrant warren of museums, galleries, shops and restaurants mingled with medieval fortifications, pre-Romanesque churches and Gothic chapels including the Temple Of Jupiter. Explore the city independently this afternoon or take an optional tour of ancient Salona and Trogir.
Day 6 - Dubrovnik
Take a morning tour of Dubrovnik, the best-preserved walled city in the Mediterranean, including the Baroque church of St Blaise, Cathedral and Rector's Palace. Spend the afternoon exploring the beautiful city further, or take an optional tour of Cavtat and the Croatian Riviera.
Day 7 - Lecce, Italy
Visit Lecce, a city of outstanding historical and architectural treasures, including the Roman amphitheatre, sumptuously-decorated Santa Croce Basilica and the stunning Palazzo Tamborino and its secret garden.
Day 8 - Sarande, Albania - Corfu, Greece
Arrive in Sarande to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Butrint, a settlement influenced by Hellenistic, Roman, medieval and Venetian times. After lunch, explore Corfu on an excursion to the Byzantine Museum, home to the world's largest collection of icons, or learn of the Venetian influence on the island.
Day 9 - At sea
Day 10 - Taormina, Sicily
Choose a sightseeing tour of the mountainside town of Taormina to visit the Greco-Roman theatre with its breathtaking views of Mt Etna. Cruise through the strait of Messina and past volcanic Stromboli this afternoon.
Day 11 - Salerno - Sorrento, Italy
Cruise past Capri and the beautiful Amalfi Coast to arrive at Salerno after lunch. Visit Paestum and the three majestic Greek temples that were the heart of this 6th century Greek city. Arrive in Sorrento this evening, remaining overnight. Ship to shore tender service.
Day 12 - Sorrento
Today’s sightseeing tour takes in either Pompeii or Herculaneum, the two towns engulfed in lava erupting from Mt Vesuvius in August 79AD. An afternoon at leisure, with the opportunity to visit Capri.
Day 13 - Sorrento
This morning is free to explore the civilised old town of Sorrento.
Day 14 Rome
Disembark Aegean Odyssey in Civitavecchia and transfer to the hotel before a choice of tours to explore Rome. Visit the Colosseum, Forum Romanum and the sumptuous basilica of St Peter in the Vatican, or see Ostia Antica, the ancient port of Rome.
Day 15 Rome
Free day to explore or take an optional excursion to the Vatican Museums & the Sistine Chapel.
Day 16 Rome - London
Transfer to Rome Airport for a British Airways or another leading airline flight to London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport. Upon arrival you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
