Day 1 - London - Rome, Italy
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport and a flight to Rome. On arrival, you are met by Voyages to Antiquity representatives and transferred to Civitavecchia to board Aegean Odyssey (4T) for an evening departure.
Day 2 - Palermo, Sicily
Sicily gained great maritime power during Roger II’s reign. A tour of Norman Palermo embraces some of the many great buildings from his legacy; Palermo Cathedral, the Norman Royal Palace and the king’s masterpiece, the Palatine Chapel, where creamy marble is inlaid with gold leaf, Byzantine mosaics blanket entire walls and the ceiling of carved wooden coffers speaks of the finest Arabic design.
Day 3 - Palermo
Discover Monreale Cathedral, considered by many to be the most beautiful Norman church in Italy. The exterior’s thick walls and powerful towers have the look of an austere fortress, but the interior is this cathedral’s true glory. Follow with an optional tour to the Palazzo Gangi, especially noted for its Sicilian Baroque ballroom decorated with Murano chandeliers, gold fittings and glittering mirrors. The visit to Palazzo Gangi is exclusive to guests of Voyages to Antiquity.
Day 4 - Trapani
Segesta, once an advanced centre of the Elymian civilisation, is thought to have been founded in the 5th to 4th century BC by a combination of exiled Trojans, Phocaeans from Greece and Sicans of Sicily. Visit the majestic 36-columned, 5th century BC Doric temple, an archaeological jewel in an extraordinary state of preservation.
Day 5 - At sea

Day 6 - Cartagena, Spain
Cartagena has almost 3,000 years of history due to its strategic position, as an important military and trade port. Visit the spectacular amphitheatre and the remains of the Casa Fortuna, as well as the ruins of Cathedral of Santa Maria la Vieja. The Roman Forum of Cartagena, the former nerve centre of the ancient city of Cathago Nova, the curia, the baths, the columned courtyard, the atrium and many more remnants have been uncovered in the last 30 years.
Day 7 - Motril - Malaga
From Motril, take a trip to Granada, including a visit to Alhambra Royal Palace, the most outstanding symbol of Moorish heritage in Spain. The magnificent fortress was home of the Nasrid Sultans who chose this site as the ideal place from which to watch over the capital of their kingdom. Also visit Generalife Palace, the delightful summer retreat for the Sultans of Granada. Alternatively, continue on board to Malaga for a panoramic drive passing outstanding buildings, parks and gardens and a tour of its charming city centre.
Day 8 - Cadiz
Cadiz has inhabited Spain’s coast for over 4,000 years and played a part history worldwide as a gateway to the Americas during the age of discovery. Choose to dedicate your morning to this beautiful city on a tour of its old quarter and Santa Catalina Fortress, or divide your time by finishing your excursion with a trip to Jerez de la Frontera for a sightseeing tour, followed by sherry-tasting at the Bodega Gonzalez Byass.
Day 9 Marrakesh, Morocco
Drive from Casablanca to Marrakesh for an afternoon of sightseeing including the famous medina, a commotion of sights, sounds and aromas. Walk through the colourful souks where craftsmen can be seen practicing their traditional trades and see the large, beautifully decorated Bahia Palace and its lush Moorish-style garden. Stay in a hotel overnight.
Day 10 - Casablanca
Drive from Marrakesh to Casablanca for sightseeing and re-join Aegean Odyssey.
Day 11 - Seville, Spain
Cruise up the Guadalquivir River into the heart of Seville, arriving in the evening.
Day 12 Seville - London
This morning you disembark Aegean Odyssey after breakfast and are transferred to Seville Airport for a flight to London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport. On arrival you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
