great holiday with fascinating fellow passengers ,trip of a lifetime , Egyptians so friendly and welcoming , ancient monuments you do not realize till you stand next to them how big and well preserved they are and so many as well , never felt at risk or in danger all the time we were there maybe this was down to our fantastic tour guide and the Egyptologist who accompanied us , if you have the chance go

An excellent holiday full of amazing ancient sites and sights but with opportunity to observe modern Egyptian life too. Particularly enjoyed the trip to Alexandria and our visit to the architecturally stunning, recently built Bibliotheca Alexandrina a good contrast to all the ancient temples etc we were seeing and a reminder that modern man can still construct beautiful buildings. Our Tour Manager, Alla, and Egyptologist, Tamer, were great, both had a surprisingly British sense of humour which contributed to our enjoyment of every day. In general the Egyptians went out of there way to make us feel welcome and safe and to anyone hesitating about going on a Nile cruise, I would say don't delay go now before tourists flood back and make appreciating all the wonders that Egypt has to offer more difficult.

An excellent trip from start to finish. The Egyptians are understandably so keen to get people coming back to see their wonderful sights and sites. I think we felt safe throughout. All arrangements worked well. Highly recommended.

We have to say that based on our experience of this holiday we would urge everyone to enjoy the consistent friendliness and willingness to help that we enjoyed at every part .
The country desperately needs tourists to rebuild their economy and they are so grateful to those of us who made the trip .

I had waited a long time to go to Egypt, it was a trip that I was thoroughly looking forward to going on and I was not disappointed. Everything was thought of in advance from the brilliant home collection service, to check-in, collection at Cairo airport, meals, excursions that made my holiday the most enjoyable one ever. The tour manager, Ayman Rashad, was superb and he kept the whole group informed about each day's events and ensured our well-being. He went the extra mile every day. The Egyptologist , George, was extremely interesting and accurately gauged how much information was needed at each site. He allowed time for questions and for free time for photographs and exploring the sites. I usually go wandering after a while and leave the guide and the group to go exploring on my own; I didn't on this holiday, George was fascinating and kept me enthralled and engaged throughout. I have learnt so much about the Ancient Egyptians and seen many wonderful monuments that I have left Egypt even more awe-inspired. This was indeed a holiday of a lifetime.
All of the sites we visited were wonderful, more time at the Valley of the Kings & Queens would have been useful. Prior to the holiday, I believed that the most awesome site was to be the Great Pyramids, visited day 2, but every different site offered marvellous structures and settings. I am glad that I did every single visit, including all of the optional visits.
The cruise ship provided us with a good selection of dishes for breakfast & lunch and a fabulous 5 course meal every evening. I was spoilt for choice, especially when it came to the desserts.
Sailing in a felucca on the River Nile was rather special as well.
For me the highlight was travelling across the Western desert towards Abu Simbel and being wakened to watch the sunrise.
Egypt is a fabulous holiday destination and one that I would recommend without any hesitation.
