Cambodia too presents scenes of rural life little changed in centuries, along with floating villages and markets and, in the heart of the jungle, often overrun with vines and creepers, a majestic complex of temples including the remarkable Angkor Wat.
Early morning transfer to the airport for our short flight to Siem Reap. On arrival we begin our full day of discovery. We begin at the South Gate of the colossal fortifi ed city of Angkor Thom and continue to the inspirational Bayon Temple. We transfer to the Borei Angkor hotel in time for lunch and in the afternoon we make further visits to some of the local temples including the romantic Ta Prohm. Dinner is included.
